been going through my head lately....if you try to prevent them from doing what they want...they see you as the enemy...but are you?.

if you take away their freedom to do so.....are they no longer free?

will they hate you...or thank you when they come to their senses?.

Does anyone have any faith in our chosen leaders to turn things around and figure out a way to bring about peace on earth...at the expense of the rich and powerful people who profit from our many problems and we depend on to "fight" them for us and protect us?

Are they going to allow anyone to succeed in making them and their services obsolete? Or are they going to do whatever is nessesary for our problems and their jobs to continue?

Decisions made always are made to whatever course benefits the person(s) making the decisions...and "right" to them is what ever puts the most money in their pockets. The long term effects are ignored and even covered up to the majority who will be affected the most by them.

Is this the makings of a bright and happy future...and peace on earth?

Or self-destructive behavior?

Trust and faith is in the wrong hands folks......

We are on a crash course..even if the radio is blaring...and the bridge is not out yet......least that is what I see.

i think i remember hearing that they were trying to phase this teaching out.

a few weeks ago i started a thread explaining that i wanted to read the entire bible for the first time.

i had been reading the kjv and i read revelation, john i, ii, ii and then i read john, matthew, mark, luke using the kjv in that order at someone's suggestion here.

i further took the suggestion of the poster and purchased an niv bible.

How did Cain know it was wrong to kill? The commandments were not written yet...how could he be punished if he had no idea he had done anything wrong...it must not have been "wrong" to him...or he would not have done it.

How about why you feel something is wrong and an convincing explanation instead of "cause I said so or else"?

If people agree with the explanation...it would stand to reason..they would not have to be forced to comply.

Why was the commandments not explained fully as to why they are wrong..and what the long term consequences are from breaking them?

The thing that disturbs me about that is...how it is coming true...and contains alot of hidden knowledge and wisdom...

If it was written by humans...those particular humans were very smart...considering we cannot figure them out.

I am inclined to believe it is inspired...but in order to understand it at all..without guessing....will mean we will have to be inspired....and we have no way of knowing who is guessing and who is inspired...a real mess imo.

I am depressed I am out of work right now...

But far from suicidal.....

I just think alot when i get bored.....and I don't think it is hopeless....just hopeless to rely upon humans to explain and figure out God.

What Double Standards Exist With Jehovah's Witnesses?

to be a "good jehovah's witness" you must be able to live by double standards.

you have to know how to play both sides to the middle.

you have to speak and act one way with certain persons and another way with the others.. one example of how witnesses live by double standards:you cannot join the ymca because jws can't involve themselves with religious matters or else be shunned.

Tell them one day you have a friend who is double standard and will not listen to what anyone says......play along and watch them condemn this person you are talking about and how wrong they are for being this way....then tell them it was them you were really talking about...and they just judged themselves.....

Should make them think and think twice before judging anyone again.

I want to know exactly how to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit.. as that is the only unforgivable sin.

Unfortunantly..I nor anyone else knows exactly what that even means...just guesses.

Because I do not..nor anyone else knows how...I cannot choose to be not forgiven for my sins.

So am I free to refuse forgiveness.......yes....but i do not how to do it....so i am not.

If someone could point out the future for you...and show you driving off a cliff and dying.....would you still do everything the same way...or would you choose a different course of action by choice? Or would you need to be forced to?

Our ignorance and short-sightness is what makes us self destructive imo.

But there is also a great deal of freedom in ignorance too.....if you lose ignorance...you are also going to lose freedom.

Perfection and freedom are not the same thing. imo
